PESHAWAR: A gathering was held at Jamaat-e-Islam’s provincial secretariat on Monday. On the occasion, JI chief Sirajul Haq spoke to participants about the situation in Balochistan and other parts of the country. “I saw Balochistan burning while the rulers are silent over it,” he said.  While talking about Karachi, he said murderers were roaming freely and holding press conferences with impunity. The JI chief said that no action has being taken against those who were involved in killing of innocent people in Karachi.  Moreover, he said there was no democracy within political parties nor do they hold elections to elect internal leadership. The only system that work, he added, was that sons succeed fathers. He alleged that western countries want separation of religion and state. This is required to push ulema against the wall so that they can make Pakistan a secular state. He claimed that JI is ready to fight this challange if it is voted into power.
