Mawra Hocane wants to follow Priyanka Chopra's career path

She also wants to 'take up something like Umrao Jaan'

Just one film old in Bollywood, Mawra Hocane already has her goals sorted.

The Pakistani actor, who made her debut with Sanam Teri Kasam, turned out to be a fan of Priyanka Chopra and says she "would love to follow her career path."

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Mawra revealed that she is open to working anywhere in the world as far as she gets good projects.

“I don’t want to plan anything. I like to take things as they come, especially when it comes to my career. I just want to keep working. Be it films in India or abroad, I am willing to take up good work. I love Priyanka Chopra’s style of work and would love to follow her career path,” she said.

Mawra also revealed that she is currently finalising scripts for her next. “I am reading scripts at the moment and finalising details," she said.

"I am open to working in all genres and don’t want to limit myself by looking for work in a particular type of film,” she added.

But that doesn't mean the Sanam Teri Kasam actor doesn't have any preferences, she would love to do period dramas if offered.
