When asked if he spoke to his Andaaz Apna Apna co-star or gave him any advice regarding the matter, Aamir responded, “No, I didn’t speak to him. And who am I to give him advice?”
After Salman's 'rape comment', Aamir Khan's 'waiter remark' sparks outrage
Salman courted the controversy during a media interaction when he said that he felt like a raped woman walking out of a ring, in his role as a wrestler in the upcoming film Sultan. He later said, “I don’t think I should have [said that]” and explained that he found it hard to walk. His comment didn’t go down too well with a lot of people. The Indian National Commission for Women (NCW) and the Shiv Sena even demanded a public apology from Salman who then sent in a letter to NCW via his lawyer. Unfortunately, the organisation said it was not an apology and the actor has been summoned to clarify on July 8.
