ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory Administration on Friday inspected 158 shops and food outlets and imposed a fine of Rs62,900 on 79 traders for overcharging and profiteering.
The ICT Administration has fined 4251 profiteers Rs7,638,300
since the inception of Ramazan.
An official of the city administration said that the drive against profiteers will continue till the end of the fasting month as its officials were carrying out regular raids in urban and rural areas of the federal capital.
