Police action: 40 beggars held

Mischievous elements wander the city in the guise of beggars

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police arrested 40 professional beggars and impounded 166 bikes, on Wednesday. A police spokesperson said that the Islamabad Police had started efforts to combat begging and take prompt legal action against professional alms-seekers. The police official further added that mischievous elements wander the city in the guise of beggars.
