Sad demise: Dr Munir dies in road accident

International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Department of Urdu Chairperson Dr Tayyab Munir died in a road accident on Wednesday, said a press release. He was an associate professor and had completed his PhD in classical Urdu literature.

Dr Najiba Arif, chairperson of the Urdu Department (women campus), confirmed the news. Dr Munir passed away after a road accident in Rawalpindi when a truck collided with his car in the suburbs of Gulistan Colony, she said. The university rector and president have expressed deep grief and sorrow on the death of Dr Munir.
