Lost & found: Police recover missing ninth graders

Police officials recovered two students, who had been abducted five days ago, with the help of their families.

AHMED PUR LAMA: Police officials recovered two students, who had been abducted five days ago, from Karachi with the help of their families.

Meray Shah residents and ninth graders, Zubair Ahmed and Ahsan Ahmed had been studying at the Islamia High School in order to prepare for their upcoming examinations. They went missing after Fajr prayers, according to the family.

They contacted the police after several hours fearing that the boys had been abducted.

On Friday evening, the students’ family received a phone call from the police stating that they had succeeded in tracing their mobiles.

Zubair and Ahsan were recovered from Karachi. Ahmed Pur Lama Police station house officer (SHO) Mehr Muhammad told reporters that both students would be presented in the Sadiqabad assistant superintendent police (ASP) office on Sunday and journalists would be informed of the details of the case during the press conference.
