SWABI: All Teachers Association (ATA) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has flayed the government’s decision to issue new policy of casual leave to teachers. The association held a meeting in Swabi on Wednesday led by its president Abdul Latif. Association members voiced their resentment over the government’s new policy. As per the new policy, teachers will be expected to notify the government before taking casual leave. Participants at the meeting decided to hold a convention at Government Middle School, Swabi on May 17 to discuss the matter. They also threatened to hold protests and rallies outside Peshawar Press Club on May 19 and 20 if the government does not retract its policy.
