Would love to visit Islamabad again, says 'Baby Doll' singer Kanika Kapoor

Kanika Kapoor -- the voice of the hugely popular item song Baby Doll -- is smitten by Pakistan's hospitality.

The Indian singer, who was recently in the capital to perform at an event aimed at promoting peace between the two neighbouring countries, shared the experience of her first visit across the border.

“People in Islamabad love music. It was great to perform there. I would love to visit the city again," she said in an interview with Hindustan Times.

During her two-year old career, Kanika got an opportunity to perform before Narendra Modi and David Cameron. “It has been a rewarding experience. I consider it (my growth as an artiste) a big achievement,” she said.

“I’ve just started my musical journey. Since my first song became a huge hit, I was offered songs that fell under similar genres. That worked for me and also for music lovers. But, I want to make a mark as a versatile singer," said Kanika.
