Reports have been making rounds that Karan Johar may rope in Deepika Padukone alongside Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra in his next film and here is the truth.

In a recent interview with NDTV, the Kapoor and Sons stars denied such reports but also expressed their desire to share screen space with the Bollywood beauty.

Deepika and Sidharth to pair up for film?

When asked about the news of their on-screen pairing, the Khoobsurat actor said, "I am not aware of any such thing."

While Sidharth confirmed that although no such project is on the cards yet "it would be pretty exciting to work with Deepika". To which Fawad added, "We all would be very excited to work with Deepika."

The Bajirao Mastani actor was floored when she came across the interview shared by a fan on Twitter.

She expressed her interest to collaborate with the B-town heartthrobs by saying: "Adorable! Cant wait for that to happen!"

Deepika, who is currently in Toronto to shoot for her Hollywood debut XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, also congratulated the Kapoor and Sons team for its success and promised to watch it as well. "Congratulations to all of you and I'm going to watch the film here in Toronto!," she added in her tweet.

ramallah khan | 8 years ago | Reply By the way for how long did the K&S run in India. The housefull board was only for the first 3 days after that tickets were easily available. Its definitely not a blockbuster like everyone would like to believe only because it is a KJO film. Many have called it a 'bakwas' film.
