Record verification: Six pharmacies sealed on CM’s orders

The purpose is to check the record of the medicines provided to hospitals by the government

ATTOCK: On the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, pharmacies of six government hospitals have been sealed to verify the records of the medicines supplied to hospitals by the provincial government. Sources at the health department said on Sunday that the chief minister in a video conference directed the district government authorities to immediately constitute teams and seal the medical stores of the hospitals. Complying with the instructions, the authorities constituted six teams headed by District Monitoring Officer Muhammad Farooq Akmal and Assistant Commissioners last night sealed the record of medical stores of DHQ Hospital Attock and Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals Jand, Pindigheb , Fatehjang, Hasanabdal and Hazro. The purpose is to check the record of the medicines provided to hospitals by the government. The record checking will be done through third party validation.
