Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha fulfilled her dream on Tuesday when she made it to the Guinness Book of World Records, according to Hindustan Times.

Sonakshi now holds the record for "most people painting their fingernails simultaneously" with some other women. The event was organised by Inglot and Major Brands as a celebration to mark the International Women's Day.

"As a kid, I used to wait for the Guinness Book of World Records to come and used to think if I would get my name into it someday and I feel today the day is so special as I was able to be a part of this prestigious book along with such wonderful ladies and it feels great," said Sonakshi at a press conference.

The Dabangg star also shared her views about women empowerment, adding, "A lot of women have started voicing their thoughts today and that is the biggest step one can take for women empowerment and I believe that there is nothing better than women empowering women and if we support each other than no one can stop women from growing."

On another note, Sonakshi recently shared she is not signing many projects as of now, in order to focus on her physical fitness – something she has recently been all over news for. “After working out regularly and putting in so much effort, you want your look to last. You want to maintain that level,” shared the actor, who has often been trolled for her weight.

Sinha shared she is going all out training for her upcoming film Force 2, reported Hindustan Times. “Since I have one film in the pipeline, I have the time to maintain my physique. I’m a strong believer in being fit and fitness is not always about being thin or skinny. It’s about being fit, mentally and physically,” she added. The actor will be starring opposite John Abraham in the film that is slated to release in November this year.
