KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan congratulated the Pakistan U19 team for winning the tri-nation series featuring Australia and New Zealand in the UAE.

It was a litmus test for the young side ahead of the U19 World Cup in Bangladesh, and the chairman praised the entire team, including players and the support staff.

“My heartiest congratulations to captain, manager, coach, the entire team and management for winning the tri-nation series,” said Shaharyar. “It has been a superb success for the team showing unity, discipline and ability. Even after losing two matches against the top sides in the series, the youngsters refused to bow down and came back strongly to claim the tri-nation tournament.”
