Brawl: Petition against rouge teenagers
The petitioner said they had beaten him up when he later returned
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday sought comments from the Sanda SHO in connection with a youngster’s petition seeking the registration of a case against some teenagers. Petitioner Liaquat Ali told the court that he was walking his sister to a tuition centre while Usman, Farhan and their friends were playing cricket in a street. Ali said they had asked him to throw back their ball while he was walking with his sister. He said he had feigned ignorance as he was accompanying his sister. The petitioner said they had beaten him up when he later returned. Ali said he had approached the Sanda SHO in vain to register a complaint against the boys. He asked the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against them.
