Gaddani Road crash: Eight injured as two buses collide

At least eight passengers have been injured in a collision between two passenger coaches near Gaddani on Balochistan coast, nearly 52km from Karachi. Police said that two passenger coaches rammed into each other on RCD Highway in Lak Badook area of Gaddani teshil, resultantly eight passengers including women and children received injuries. Police and eye witnesses blamed the drivers for the accident. “The driver was over speeding,” a police official said. Edhi ambulances rushed the injured to Jam Ghulam Qadir Civil Hospital in Hub. Later, some of the injured were referred to Karachi due to their critical condition. The accident caused a miles long traffic jam on RCD highway. The rest of the passengers had to wait for hours for other buses to take them to their destinations.
