Crime diary: CDA officials booked on land fraud charge

ISLAMABAD:


Aabpara police have registered a case against seven men, including three officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), on fraud charges.


Nadir Khan told the police that Nazim, Saddam, Nazeer and Sirajul Haq in connivance with CDA officials Amjad Ali, Sardar Muhammad Qutbuddin and Naqeebullah defrauded him of Rs6 million on promise of a plot.


The incident took place at the CDA headquarters in Sector G-7/4. Police have registered a case and launched investigation.


Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi police have arrested a woman after 115 grammes of heroin were seized from her. Police said Nabeela, the suspect, was arrested in Sector I-11/4 with the drugs. A case has been registered against her.
