LAHORE: The judge of a consumer court on Tuesday issued a notice to a tailor in connection with a petition seeking Rs300,000 in damages.  Petitioner Muhammad Sultan told the court that he had handed over some cloth to Akram Ali, a tailor, to have it stitched. He said Ali had told him to collect a pair of shalwar kamees suits after one week. Sultan said he had realised that the suits in question had not been made to measure after he had tried them on. He said he had approached Ali on this account in vain. Sultan said he had declined to remedy the problem citing time woes. He requested the court to direct the tailor to pay Rs300,000 in damages.
