Poor hygiene: PFA seals bread factory

The authority also fined Eman Foods at Pakistani Chowk and Farooq Bakery

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed a bread factory and various eateries on Tuesday over poor cleanliness. The PFA Nishtar Town food safety officers sealed Morgan Bread in Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate over poor hygiene. The Gulberg Town team sealed Lahori Paratha, Nazir Tea Stall and Malik Tea Stall and Juice Corner for operating without a licence. The authority had earlier issued notices to them. The PFA Samanabad Town team sealed Liaqat Ali Naan Shop over poor hygiene standards and Munna Bhai Naan Shop for operating without a licence. Allama Iqbal Town food safety officers sealed Hafiz Milk Shop in NFC Society for not obtaining certificates for its workers. The authority also fined Eman Foods at Pakistani Chowk and Farooq Bakery, Sufi Bakery and Salman Bakery on GT Road for poor hygiene.
