Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sindhu said on Sunday that sharing Christmas joys with others was the real spirit of the festival.
He was speaking at a ceremony arranged to give interest-free loans to 380 deserving persons. The loans are being given under the Chief Minister’s Self-employment Scheme through Akhuwat. “As many as 380 families will benefit from the initiative,” Sindhu said. The minister attended another function regarding Christmas festivities at Cathedral Church on The Mall.
