An anti-terrorism court granted bail on Monday to a sector incharge and a worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). MQM's Landhi sector incharge, Ruknuddin, was arrested in July during a Rangers raid. He was remanded into Rangers custody during which he allegedly disclosed information about a cache of arms and ammunition hidden at an isolated plot in Sharafi Goth. The weapons were seized and he was formally implicated in the case. Later, another MQM worker, identified as Tofiq, was also remanded in connection with the case. Both suspects were in jail custody on judicial remand when they applied for bail. The judge granted the suspects bail against a surety bond of Rs100,000.
