The family of a woman who was abducted a week ago staged a protest in front of Cantt police station, Darya Khan, on Sunday.

Muhammad Suleman, the woman’s husband, said his wife had been abducted a week ago by 16 men. “They broke into our house and beat us up…then they took her,” he said.

Suleman said she had been abducted by some men who wanted to “teach him a lesson” because he had supported his cousin in a case filed against them. Suleman said he had told the police names of eight of the men who had abducted his wife. “But the police have not found her.”

He said he would commit suicide in front of the police station if his wife was not found soon.
