The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday announced that it will start giving possession of plots to the allottees of the Park Enclave housing project from December 28.
Possession will initially be given in the areas where development work has been completed, while possession in areas still under development will be given by mid-February 2016.
CDA chairman visited the project on Wednesday and reviewed the progress of ongoing development work. Project Director Mumtaz Hussain briefed the chairman in this regard.
The project was launched in July 5, 2011, but development on the project remained stalled for years.
However, the current CDA management not only prioritised the project, but also devised an effective plan and started development work in August last year.
Worth Rs2.7 billion, PC-1 for the project was approved and after tendering, a contract amounting to Rs1.26 billion for first phase of the development work was awarded.
This contract covers the construction of a boundary wall, main gate, road infrastructure, tube wells, sewerage system and all other development works.
