Protests were held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Friday against the killing of four persons and injuring of over 50 in firing by Border Security Force personnel in Ramban District of the Indian-held Kashmir.
Dozens of activists of Jamaat-ud Dawah staged a protest rally outside Central Press Club here and shouted anti-India and pro-Kashmir slogans.
Meanwhile, the opposition leader in the AJK Legislative Assembly and PML-N Chairman Raja Farooq Haider has called Prime Minister’s Special Adviser on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatimi.
“Fatimi assured the opposition leader that the government is keenly monitoring the situation of Indian-held Kashmir and very soon Foreign Office will issue its reaction over the massacre,” the sources added.
