KARACHI: Shahrukh Jatoi was escorted through the airport by unidentified men as he attempted to flee the country after allegedly killing Shahzeb Khan, CCTV footage obtained by Express News shows.
The video came into limelight over 60 days after that fateful December night. It had previously been played in the Supreme Court of March 7, 2013.
The footage shows Shahrukh entering the Karachi airport. He is wearing a red cap that obscures his face.
He is escorted by a group of unidentified men who oversee as Shahrukh passes through a metal walk through gate and frisking by a security official.
Shahrukh was then stopped by a security guard of the airport, but a member of Shahrukh’s escort came to the rescue and he was escorted to the waiting lounge.
On December 25, 2012, Shahzeb was murdered allegedly by Shahrukh over a petty dispute near Mubarak Masjid, DHA, in Karachi.
His death sparked a movement on social media and triggered off a series of protests, condemnations by political parties and a suo motu notice by the chief justice.
Following the suo motu notice by the Supreme Court, Shahrukh’s name was entered in the Exit Control List (ECL), yet he managed to flee the country to Dubai via fake passport and documents. The passport had his name as Syed Shahrukh Jatoi.

The protocol officer who escorted Shahrukh to the airport should also be tried in the ATC

FIA is just diverting the case.
Its Almost impossible that only two protocol officers can do this task easily,
There are so many steps where passenger have to pass by himself and protocol officers have to follow Immigration..Protocol Officers are not FIA officers who can by pass all steps
I guess FIA officers are trying to save own officers (ofcourse FIA have more power than a protocol officers….simple understanding…

What does this mean? Why still unidentified? These men was walking in the airport giving him protocol. Do we not know who works/lobbies at Karachi airport? NADRA database is supposed to have details for every Pakistani citizen to solve the remaining pieces of the puzzle. Please do your homework and identify the culprits. Also, for a change, Indict every single person who helped this murderer pass through and set an example so that the feudal bunches think twice before messing with the law.

At Airport there are many check points even when you enter the gate, an Anti-Narcotics Army guy always ask you about your travel purpose and see your passport and ask some question. I am wondering how this channel passed by Shahrukh Jatoi or this channel for ordinary persons only??

Do you people still regard the Saudi Judicial system as bad? That is the best system with swift justice as ‘justice delayed is justice denied’.

Supreme Court should put the names of all those officials who manage Shahruk Jatoi’s departure, despite knowing the fact that he was a murderer.
Shahruk’s father should be asked as how much money he has paid to these officials, so that his son should escape from the immediate arrest.
There are some very well known names on whose instructions government officials and protocol staff send Shahruk Jatoi to UAE, though his father first gave a statement that his son has gone to Australia to dodge the Police.

no one will recognize these guys in the CCTV. People will forget and that’s it. Do anyone remember what happened in May in some years back? Any thing happened to those roaming around with guns in hands? This was braodcasted on national TV. Crime is a crime, whoever commits it.

This guy is hiding in some small village of Larkana, FIA should get him before he sneak out of Pakiland!

What is distressing is the snail’s pace at which our justice system works…………justice delayed is justice denied.

wish this sort of investigative zeal by the authorities and media would be applied to terrorists who kill 100x more people.

Just like the people forgot the Bakery worker Incident of Shahbaz’s Sharif’s daughter in Lahore where guards had beaten the bakery worker and that worker is still missing in a similar manner this case will be archived in the coming months.

Interior minister must fire those responsible at the airport for helping the criminal Shahrukh Jatoi to escape to Dubai. As no action is taken by the government it is also clear that the government is helping criminals to commit murders and crimes in Karachi and elsewhere in PakistanRecommend

No, this doesn’t make me want to get a gun, it really doesn’t. But it makes me feel terribly uncomfortable knowing I might be safer with one. Safer from the law! That’s so ridiculous.
