No identification: Body found in canal

PESHAWAR: A body was found in a canal in Veno Sarai area within the jurisdiction of Yakatoot police station on Sunday. The body was taken out of the canal by Edhi workers and shifted to the police station. According to the police, the deceased appeared to be a man in his mid-thirties and had no marks on his body to help suggest the cause of his death. “We are trying to establish his identity as well,” a police official told The Express Tribune, adding the body has been sent to a hospital for an autopsy.
