Media advocacy campaign: ‘Pur Azm’ to challenge gender violence

Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, launched a year-long media advocacy campaign

A nationwide media campaign has been launched to campaign against gender-based violence. Trócaire, an Irish agency for international development, along with the support of the Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, launched a year-long media advocacy campaign on the issues of gender-based violence in Pakistan. In a press release issued on Wednesday, ‘Pur Azm’ campaign on ‘Gender equality – Our commitment’ aims to trigger a national debate and galvanise action towards preventing violence against women and girls.
