Free blood tests, check-ups and family planning counseling were also provided at the camp
SUKKUR:
A free general and eye camp was arranged at Lakhi Ghulam Shah on Thursday by a local NGO and the district population welfare department. The camp was organised to provide free eye check-up, optical glasses and cataract operations to poor people. Shikarpur deputy commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi inaugurated the free medical camp. Qureshi said that it is the collective responsibility of the entire society to help and look after the needy and poor people. “We need to work together and stay united for the noble cause of serving humanity,” he said, adding that more free medical camps will be held in future to provide medical assistance to the poor patients. Free blood tests, check-ups and family planning counseling were also provided at the camp.
