Property dispute: Man attacked, flung over mountain

The assailants flung his body down the mountain and fled the scene

SHANGLA: A man was brutally murdered in Shangla on Wednesday over a property dispute. According to police, the deceased, identified as Himesh, had been axed to death in Besham. Shahbaz, a relative of the deceased, filed a complaint against the incident with Dandai police station. He said a house had been transferred to Himesh by his uncle Khaista Rehman. However, a group of people claimed the house belonged to them. As per the report, Himesh, along with his brother Tanay and uncle, were on their way home when Shah Hamdan, Muhammad Nabi, Nosherwan, Zakir, Abdullah, Jamshed, Hassan, Daud and Asad intercepted their vehicle. They took Himesh to a mountain, shot him in the leg and repeatedly attacked him with an axe. The assailants flung his body down the mountain and fled the scene. Himesh succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
