ISPR says army chief is in Brazil on a three-day visit
Chief of Joint Staff of Brazil Armed Forces General Jose Carlos De Nardi lauded Pakistan Army’s professionalism and operation achievement specially in the ongoing counter-terrorism operations across the country.
General Jose Carlos De Nardi's comments came during a meeting with Army chief General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday at the Brazil Army Headquarters, ISPR said.
According to the military’s media wing, during the meeting the army chief discussed regional security and emerging challenges with his Brazilian counterpart.

Further, matters of mutual professional interest, military to military relations and training exchanges between the two countries also came under discussion between the COAS and the head of Brazilian armed forces.
Earlier upon his arrival at the Brazil Army Headquarters, General Raheel was presented a guard of honour and a 19-gun salute.
Beginning US trip, Gen Raheel meets American counterpart
The army chief is on a three-day tour to Brazil from where he will head for Ivory Coast, where Pakistan Army troops serving with the UN Peacekeeping contingent had received an award on Friday.
General Raheel’s visit to Brazil comes after a five-day tour to Washington, where he met with top civil and military leadership of the United States and held discussions on issues ranging from defence, military cooperation, regional security, as well as the long-running Kashmir dispute with India.
