Man kills sister in name of 'honour' in Lahore
The accused suspected his sister was not of 'good character'
LAHORE:
A 25-year-old woman was shot dead by his brother in the name of honour in Lahore, within the limits of Shera Kot police station on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Farhat Bibi, a resident of Noora Sharif, Shera Kot.
Four killed over honour
Police said the accused, Imran, suspected his sister was not of 'good character'.
On Friday, after a heated argument with Farhat, Imran opened fire on her. She was immediately taken to the Jinnah Hospital but died of her wounds.
Couple killed over ‘honour’ in Charsadda
Police reached the spot to collect evidence from the crime scene, and recorded statements from witnesses.
The body has been shifted to a morgue for autopsy.
