Negligent attitude: Four Auqaf dept officials suspended

The services of four officials of the Sachal Sarmast shrine have been suspended due to negligence, according to the directives of special assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister for Auqaf and religious affairs, Senator Dr Abdul Qayoom Soomro.
Meanwhile, the Sukkur and Larkana Auqaf administrator, Munir Ahmed Lashari, and Daraza Sharif manager, Shabir Ahmed, have also been asked for an explanation regarding the incident. Dr Soomro directed the Auqaf secretary and chief administrator to improve the arrangements at all shrines in the province and take stern action against ghost employees. In an order issued by the Sindh Auqaf department, Hyderabad, four khadims - Javed Ahmed, Hidayat Ali, Muhammad Azam and Shah Zaman - have been suspended for their negligence during an incident of theft at the shrine.
