Puneet, who played a small role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Josh, claimed that the Dabbang star seems to be bewitched by TV show participant Mandana Karimi's “outer beauty”.
Sneak peek inside this year's Bigg Boss house
“He (Salman) doesn't see her (Mandana's) hypocrisy. He just sees her outer beauty -- not what she does or what she is -- her dirty politics are not shown on camera, instead she's portrayed as a pretty little doll, who cries onscreen,” Puneet told IANS.
Puneet entered the house as a wild card entry after actor Rishabh Sinha, and was evicted on November 15.
In the last few episodes, Salman was unforgiving towards participants Kishwer Merchant, Suyyash Rai and Prince Narula over their harsh attitude towards Mandana. Kishwer, in fact, termed Mandana as the favourite this season.
Puneet, who has also featured in Indian TV serials like Shastri Sisters and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, asserts that he is thankful to the show, for keeping his ego in check.
Bigg Boss marks new beginning for Rimi
“There was a little bit of ego in me because I have taught Shah Rukh and Salman how to dance. I hated that about myself but now, after Bigg Boss, that egotism has died,” he said.
According to Puneet, there are two clear winners. “If it is the right way then Aman (Verma) should win the game, but I have a feeling it's going to be Mandana,” predicted the actor.
He minced no words when calling Mandana “dark and ugly” from inside.
Salman Khan to return with Bigg Boss 'Double Trouble'
“Mandana is two-faced -- beautiful from the outside, but ugly from the inside. For two days we shared friendly relations and then all of a sudden she started taunting me for no reason. She is very manipulative,” the actor said.
Talking about his experiences in the house, Puneet reveals that he has come out a different man.
“I have come out totally rejuvenated. It was definitely not my place to be because I am not a political person or one to backbite and I guess that indicates a winner in a sense. I realised we take a lot of things for granted and I believe I have come out a winner,” Puneet said.
