Intercepted: Two drug peddlers arrested

MUZAFFARABAD: The local police on Monday arrested two suspected drug peddlers in two different incidents in Muzaffarabad and seized the contraband from their possession. According to the police, during a routine checking, they intercepted Amir Saleem at the Bararkot check post and seized five packets of high quality heroin from his possession. In the second incident, the police arrested Danish Kaleem, a resident of Muzaffarabad, and seized a large quantity of hashish worth thousands of rupees from his possession. Cases have been registered against the suspects and further investigations are under way, the police said.
