LG polls: Election campaign gains momentum

The candidates have started visiting courts with litigants

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi city is witnessing an unusual political mobilization with candidates participating in almost every activity from funeral to wedding to settling local disputes to woo voters ahead the upcoming local government elections. Residents said that the unusual political mobilisation before the upcoming local body elections. The candidates have started visiting courts with litigants, who may be their potential voters, to help them sort out matters at the earliest. Some candidates make their presence felt at almost every funeral to sympathise with the grieved families.
