Transferred: Home dept seeks case files

KARACHI: The provincial home department sought on Wednesday the original files of cases notified to be tried in military courts immediately. The direction came five days after eight high-profile cases were transferred there. A letter forwarded by the registrar of special courts to anti-terrorism and other courts where the cases were being heard earlier read that the original files and case properties must be submitted to the home department by today, Thursday.
