Relatives alleged that Uzma Bibi, the deceased, had showed symptoms of dengue fever and had visited Nishtar Hospital’s emergency ward from where she was sent home after being treated for malaria. They said her husband, Haider, had been admitted to the hospital on Friday with dengue fever.  They said three other members of the family, identified as six-year-old Shan, Rab Nawaz and Noor Mai had also showed similar symptoms.  Nishtar Hospital spokesman Zahid said Haider had been admitted to Ward 27 on Friday but he had left without intimating his doctors.
