LG Polls: Elections delayed in 16 Pindi UCs

RAWALPINDI: Local government elections have been delayed in 16 union councils (UCs) of the Rawalpindi district. New polling schedule for these UCs will be issued in January 2016. The union councils where the polls have been postponed are: Dhar Java, Tret, Murree City, Ghora Gali, Charhan (Murree tehsil); Mallot Sattian, Bhattian, Karor, Lehtrar, Chajana (Kotli Sattian tehsil); Khalol, Beor (Kahuta tehsil); Beran Kalan and Balakhar (Kallar Syedan tehsil); and Kotha Kalan-I and Kotha Kalan-II (Rawalpindi tehsil).
