Troubled couple: Man seeks case against wife for death threats
He requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case against her and her family members

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Ravi Road SHO on Friday on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against her wife for threatening to get him killed if he did not divorce her.
Muhammad Ilyas submitted that he had married Rabia Shareef on April 15. He said that a month later she had started asking him to take her to luxury hotels for meals.
He said she would also keep pressing him to visit her relatives.
He said she had later gone to her parents and asked for a divorce. He said she and her family had threatened to kill him if he did not divorce her.
He requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case against her and her family members.
