Vehicle tax: New payment service to be launched

ISLAMABAD:

The Excise and Taxation Office has decided to introduce a mobile payment service to facilitate token payments by motorists. Excise and Taxation Officer Hamid Ranjha said they have sent a proposal to the Interior Ministry. Motorists would be able to pay token fee of vehicles through the service and the system would be automatically updated, he informed.
