Surrender: Three ‘robbers’ killed in shootout
The police told them to surrender but they shot at the police
HAROONABAD:
Three robbery suspects were killed in a shootout with the police in Haroonabad on Wednesday. Police said three men were on their way to Chak 105-6R when they were waylaid by five robbers. They said the robbers had taken away their cell phones and motorcycle. The men called the police and reported the incident after which check posts in the area. Police said the robbers were spotted at a check post near the Cantt police station in Chak 25-3R. The police told them to surrender but they shot at the police. Three robbers were killed in the shootout. Two of them managed to escape.
