Attracting investment: Mega projects initiated

AJK PM said the AJK government was facilitating private entrepreneur to secure investment in the region

MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) government offers the best and most conducive atmosphere for foreign investors to invest in tourism, industrial and hydel power sectors, said AJ&K Prime Minister Chaudhary Abdul Majeed. Talking to various public representative delegations at the PM House, he said the government was taking all necessary measures to turn AJ&K into a true model welfare state through ameliorating the lifestyle of common people. He said the AJK government was facilitating private entrepreneur to secure investment in the region in order to yield better opportunities of employment for people of the state besides promoting tourism. “The government has started several mega projects in the state in just one year and its focus is on hydel power, tourism, education, health, transport and telecommunication,” he added.
