Police Action: Bike-lifter held, four bikes recovered
The team arrested a bike-lifter, identified as Hamza Mushtaq
ISLAMABAD:
The special investigation unit (SIU) of the Islamabad Police on Tuesday held a member of a bike-lifting gang, and recovered four stolen motorbikes from their possession. According to a police spokesperson, senior police officials assigned the task to SP (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas, who constituted a special team headed by CIA DSP Bashir Ahmed Noon, SI Muhammad Azam, ASI Muhammad Akram Ranjha, and others. The team arrested a bike-lifter, identified as Hamza Mushtaq, within the jurisdiction of the Khanna Police Station. Four bikes were recovered from him and further investigation is under way from Mushtaq to apprehend his accomplices, the spokesperson added.
