NBP resumed their innings on 11-1 and reached 332-6 with the help of Akmal’s 135 not out, with Umar Waheed scoring 78. NBP are in control of the tie as they lead by 154 runs with four wickets remaining.
In another Pool B match, Fakhar Zaman was batting on an unbeaten 180 with Ramiz Aziz on 38 to take HBL to 326-3 against Fata, while Imran Farhat scored 73.
At the Pindi Stadium, home side Rawalpindi made 221-8 after the first day was washed out by rain. Muhammad Abbas and Sadaf Hussain impressed for KRL with three and two wickets respectively. All-rounder Sohail Tanvir was the highest scorer for Pindi with 42.

In the Pool A match at the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar, SNGPL restricted Peshawar to 231 in their first innings as Samiullah took 3-27 while Gohar Ali (56) was Peshawar’s highest scorer.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore Blues resumed their first innings on 265-5 against SSGC but could only manage 301 as Mohammad Amir claimed 3-55. At the end of play, SSGC were in trouble after falling to 151-7 as a total of 12 wickets fell in the day.

At the Niaz Stadium, hosts Hyderabad resumed their innings on 305-3 against Port Qasim and were able to add 97 runs to post a strong 402-run total, with Azeem Ghumman scoring 188. At the end of play, Port Qasim were batting on 185-5.
At the Diamond Ground, UBL ended the day on 165-2 against Islamabad with Saeed Bin Nasir batting on 70 and Umair Khan on 60.
