Three mine workers died and as many were injured when a coal mine collapsed in Jamshoro district on Sunday. A portion of the mine, owned by Sindhu Coal Mines in Khanote area, collapsed over six workers. Three of them were recovered from the debris but were pronounced dead. Khanote DSP Qamar Shinwari identified the deceased as 40-year-old Akmal Khan, 35-year-old Hussain Ali Pathan and 30-year-old Babar Khan, all hailing from Swat.
