ISLAMABAD:

The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) will hold a consultative workshop on ‘Fee determination and quality of education parameters” on Tuesday, October 20.

The aim of the workshop is to develop a comprehensive strategy for quality education in the capital.

“The purpose of the workshop is to consolidate public opinion, specifically the opinion of parents, so CADD can develop parameters for quality education and fee determination,” CADD Minister Barrister Usman Ibrahim said.

In a meeting with LAGAN and the president of the association of parents Aliya Agha on Friday, the minister said on the directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, a special cell has been constituted in the Private Education Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) to ensure compliance of the premier’s instructions.

Ibrahim told the head of the association that private schools had been submitting their written compliances to PEIRA on not increasing fees or charges during the year.

Agha appreciated the endeavours of CADD in implementing the September 23 notification.
