Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has linked Pakistan’s security with peace and stability in Balochistan, saying the state will secure every inch of the province.

“Nobody should have any misconceptions ... the state will secure every inch of Balochistan and develop the province," he said, while addressing the passing out ceremony of the 57th batch of Frontier Corps in Loralai on Saturday, Express News reported.

The minister also highlighted that the region, which is rich in resources, has the entire world’s attention, but belongs to Baloch people and to Pakistan.

Acknowledging the role of security personnel in maintaining law and order and safeguarding Pakistan, Nisar reminded them that their role was not only to fight terror but also to win the hearts of people.

Paying tribute to more than "650 martyrs of the force" who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, Nisar said, “We are indebted to these brave sons of soil.”
