The cases were sent to Consumer Price Court Haripur for further proceedings
HARIPUR:
Two clinics were sealed in Khalabat Township for being run without valid documents, said a police official on Tuesday. One of the clinics, which belonged to Ranjeet Singh, a non-qualified hakim, was sealed as Ranjeet did not have any relevant certification. In another visit, Zarmat Clinic in Sector 3 of Khalabat Townshop was sealed as the owner, Muhammad Ramzan, an Afghan refugee, was selling allopathic medicine despite having a qualification of homeopathy. The cases were sent to Consumer Price Court Haripur for further proceedings as the owner and practitioner were disobeying K-P Consumer Protection Act 1997. The clinics were raided by several police and health commission officials.
