World Tourism Day: Promotion of tourism urged

Speakers emphasized the need to raise awareness about the importance of tourism promotion

LAHORE: McDonald’s Pakistan and the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) held a seminar last week to celebrate the World Tourism Day. Speaking on the occasion, Mian Tahir Javed, human resources and training director at McDonald’s Pakistan, emphasized the need to raise awareness about the importance of tourism promotion. Other speakers at the event were Tourism and Education Minister Rana Mashhood, TDCP Managing Director Ahmer Malik, and Walled City of Lahore Authority cheif Kamran Lashari.
