LAHORE: The director general of Pakistan Postal Services, Fakir Syed Shaharyuddin, said on Sunday that the entire network of Pakistan Postal Services was being computerized to achieve world standard. Delivery of the service at door-steps of people with speed and accuracy would be ensured, he said in an exclusive interview with APP. He said the department of Pakistan Post Office (PPO) is a public utility organisation not merely a profit earning entity.  “We are making our best efforts to ensure quality, quick, reliable and economical postal services for society”, he said.  He said PPO possessed vast potential which, he added, is being fully exploited to meet the future challenges without compromising on quality of service.  The DG said that people from all walks of life have reposed their confidence in Pakistan Post Office as its services are comparatively better than other private couriers in terms of economical rates, safety, speed and reliability.
