Suspected terrorists: Two foreigners held

It has yet to be ascertained whether they are members of the Afghan Taliban

KARACHI:
Two foreigners were reportedly taken into custody while they were undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the metropolis. The two suspected foreigners were taken into custody by intelligence agency personnel during a raid conducted late on Saturday night in Defence Hosuing Authority. There were reports that the suspects belong to Kunduz city of Northern Afghanistan from where they arrived in the city for medical treatment. Though their arrests and identifications were not disclosed by any agency, they were said to be shifted to an undisclosed location for further questioning. It was also reported that the two doctors who were treating them were taken into custody and shifted to an undisclosed location. It has yet to be ascertained whether they are members of the Afghan Taliban.
